AFMC MBBS Entrance Exam which is popularly known as Armed Force Medical College is a national level entrance exam conducted by Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. This medical college is a premier institute of India, was founded in the year 1948 for post graduate courses. A graduate wing for MBBS course was in progress in AFMC on 4th August 1962 with the aim of inducting medical graduates to the Armed Forces Medical Services.

To get entry in AFMC 2014 Exam, Pune the candidate must appear for its AFMC MBBS Entrance Test. Every year AFMC is being lead in the month of May at several centers. AFMC 2014 comprises of 2 stages viz, written exam and interview. AFMC 2014 written exam will be lead at 55 centers overall India.

AFMC 2014 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have passed qualifying exam as a regular applicant with Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology taken simultaneously and obtaining not less than 60% of the collective marks in these 3 science topics taken composed and not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in each of the science topics. 

• They should have also passed an exam in Mathematics of the 10th Grade.
   
• Any other exam which in scope and values is equal to the Higher Secondary Pre-Professional/ Science/ Pre-Medical Examination of Indian University or Board with English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology including applied test in each of these Science topic.
   
• Candidates who have seemed or will be appearing in qualifying examination up to 02 May, of the year may also apply. However, on selection, the admission will be subject to passing and meeting the eligibility criteria stated before.
   
• Must have reached the age of 17yrs on 31st December of the year of submission, but must not have reached the age of 22 years on that date and not more than 24 years of age in case of candidates who have passed or are appearing in final B.Sc. exam.

AFMC 2014 Exam Dates

• Application can be obtained from December 3rd week 2014 to January last week
• Last date of form submission is February 1st week
• AFMC 2014 Entrance Exam will be held on 1st week of May, 2014
• Results will be published by last week of May

• AFMC Interview Date – To be declared only after the Entrance Examination/ Interview will be by June.
• Start of the Course by 1st August, 2013

For Indian Nationals

Common to AIIMS New Delhi and 6 AIIMS like Institutions

Age: The applicants must attain or will attain the age of 17 years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission (Applicants born on or after 2nd Jan, 1996 are Not qualified to apply.).

Essential: The applicants should have passed the 12th Grade under the 10 + 2 Scheme/ Intermediate Science (I. Sc.) or Senior qualifications School Certificate Examination or a corresponding examination of a recognized University/ Board of any State in Indian with Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology.

Minimum: The applicants should have got a minimum of 60% marks in the case of Aggregate General & OBC and 50% in case of SC/ ST candidates in aggregate in English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)

Common to AIIMS New Delhi & SIX AIIMS like Institutions OCI recorded under Section 7a of Citizenship Act 1955 are also qualified to seem in this AIIMS test and all terms and conditions valid for Indian Nationals given in this Brochure will be applicable to them. The applicant will submit proof of Registration as OCI under Section 7a of Citizenship Act 1955 to be eligible to appear to this test.

For Foreign Nationals

For AIIMS New Delhi only Foreign candidate designated by the Government of India are required to have got a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination to be eligible for admission to the M.B.B.S. Course. Foreign applicants are not required to seem at the Competitive Entrance Examination.

AIIMS MBBS 2014 Application Process

 

1. Candidates who are interested in taking AIIMS UG 2014 entrance exam are required to apply online by visiting the official website of AIIMS. Kindly read the prospectus carefully before starting the online registration.
2. Candidates are required to give order of preference for six new AIIMS like institutions apart from AIIMS Delhi. No documents are to be attached with the AIIMS UG 2014 application form.
3. Application fee for AIIMS UG 2014 entrance exam is:
   • Rs 1000 for General/ OBC category
   • Rs 800/- for SC/ST category
4. Payment can be made through computer generated Challan Form in any branch of State Bank of India.
5. Candidates are required to download the registration form and keep the copy of the same until the admission process is over.

 

AIIMS 2014 Paper Pattern

Following is paper pattern for AIIMS MBBS Exam 2014

The AIIMS 2014 is a Competitive Medical MBBS Entrance Exam that will be 3 and a half hours long, comprising of 200 objective, multiple choice and reason-assertion type questions from Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Knowledge. The distribution of the questions is as follows:

• Improper answers will be given negative marking.
• Each correct response will get a score of +1 mark
• Each incorrect response will get a score of -1/3 (less one-third).

About Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering 2014

Date of Entrance Exam: 13th April 2014 (Sunday FN).  The entrance exam is of 3 hour duration. It will be conducted in 75 cities. The Information Handbookprovides more details about the exam. The University brochure gives brief description about the facilities available in the University. University brochure and Information Handbook are included in the Application packet.

Entrance Examination Pattern

The duration of the Examination is 3 hours (10 AM to 1 PM). There will be only one question paper containing objective type questions in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Each question will be followed by four answers of which only one is correct / most appropriate. The question booklet will be in English. Each question carries 3 marks. Negative mark (-1) will be awarded for each wrong answer. Subject Combination :  Subject -  Weightage Mathematics - 50 questions Physics - 35 questions Chemistry - 35 questions Total No. of Questions - 120 questions Total Marks ( 120 x 3 ) = 360 marks

Eligibility Criteria for 2014 Entrance Examination

Age - Candidates shall be born on or after 1st July 1993.  Educational Qualification - A pass in 10+2 (class XII)or its equivalent securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% marks in each of these three subjects.  (OR) A three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent. Note: Those who appear for the above examinations in March/April 2014 may also apply.  Seat allotment through Counselling will be based on the eligibility and rank obtained by the Candidate in the Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering 2014.

HALL TICKET & IDENTIFICATION

No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination without valid hall ticket. In the Examination hall, candidate should produce the hall ticket when demanded by the invigilator. The Hall Ticket generated by the software will contain the Registration Number of the candidate and address of the Exam centre allotted to the candidate. Candidates shall download the Hall Tickets from the University website by entering Application Number and Date of Birth. Hall Tickets will not be sent by post. In the examination hall each candidate shall sign the attendance sheet. This signature shall be identical with the signatures on the Application form and the Hall Ticket. During the examination,the candidate's left hand thumb impression also will be taken in the attendance sheet for identification. Thumb impression will be taken again at the time of admission for comparison. Candidates shall retain their hall tickets used at the examination hall having seal and signature of the invigilator and produce the same at the time of counselling

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Admission

Admissions will be made for B.Tech Programme by the following criteria.

Candidates have to be successful in KLUEEE (KL University Engineering Entrance Examination), JEE-Main, JEE-Advanced and State Level Engineering Entrance Exams across India including EAMCET and Merit in Sports.

Eligibility:

• A Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 60% and above in Group subjects.
• Students with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) are eligible for all B.Tech programmes including Bio-Technology.
• Students with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) are eligible for B.Tech (Bio Technology) Course only.

* Education loan facility is available for tuition fee from nationalized banks subject to bank norms.

* KL University reserves the right to alter any of the above norms.

  • B.Pharmacy: A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination with Mathematics/ Biology, Physics & Chemistry subjects.
  • B.Arch:A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying Examination  with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry subjects and also shall qualify in NATA / JEE (Main). 
• Rank obtained in GAT (UGTP) - 2014.

Note: Students who passed Intermedaite or 10+2 examination in 2012 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear for GAT-2014.

GAT- 2014 Online Slot Booking System

Candidates must choose a test centre, date and slot of their choice by using the GAT-2014 Online Booking System. Candidates will not be issued the e-hall ticket without booking a slot through online booking system. Candidate has to submit his / her Application Number, Gender and Date of Birth, while logging into the online booking system.

Candidates are required to book their slots using the Online booking system as per the scheduled dates i.e., 6th to 12th April 2014. If the candidate has not booked his / her slot on or before 12th April 2014, the system will generate the same automatically. Please note that the Online booking system will not allow the candidate to book his / her slot after 12th April 2014.

GAT- 2014 Hall Ticket

The hall ticket contains the Hall Ticket Number, Program Applied for, Address of the Test Centre, Date & Time of the Test i.e., selected by the candidate. If any discrepancies found, the candidate should bring it to the notice of the University authorities.

Candidate should enter the Application Number, Gender and Date of Birth details to download the Hall Ticket. Candidates should take two print outs of his / her hall ticket. Please ensure that all details on the E-Hall Ticket including photograph is clearly visible on the print out.
